1. Quality Inspection Upon Receipt
Once your returned item arrives at our warehouse, it undergoes a mandatory quality check by our inspection team. We verify that the saree is unused, unwashed, has all tags attached, and is free of perfume, makeup, and customer-induced thread pulls. This inspection is typically completed within 48 hours of arrival.
2. Refund Approval and Timelines
Upon successful quality check, we will send an email confirmation of approval. The refund will be initiated within 3 business days of this approval. If the product fails the inspection (due to damage or use), the return request will be rejected, and the item will be sent back to you. No refund will be issued in such cases.
3. Refund to Original Payment Method
For prepaid transactions (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, Wallets), the refund is processed directly back to the original source account used at checkout via Razorpay. We cannot issue refunds to alternate credit cards or bank accounts for prepaid orders.
4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Refunds
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds cannot be paid in cash. Customers must provide their bank account details (Bank Name, Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC Code) or a valid UPI ID during the return request process. The refund will be processed via NEFT/UPI transfer. Please allow up to 5 business days for NEFT transfers to clear.
5. Bank Processing Delays Disclaimer
While we initiate refunds within 3 business days of quality approval, the actual credit timeline is determined by your card issuer or banking institution. For credit cards, it may take 5 to 7 business days, and for UPI/Net Banking, it may take 2 to 4 business days to reflect in your account. Mishvarya Sarees is not responsible for any delay on the part of the bank or payment gateway provider.
6. Partial Refunds and Combo Discounts
If you return a portion of a buy-one-get-one-free or a combo discounted purchase, the refund will be calculated proportionally. The discount applied to the kept item will be adjusted, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
